Engineers Without Borders- Illinois Institute of Technology Student Chapter Building a better world, one community at a time. Currently, EWB-IIT is working on a bridge design project for the community of San Claudio in Nicaragua.

EWB seeks to partner with developing communities to improve their quality of life through the implementation of environmentally sustainable, equitable, and economical engineering projects. while emphasizing leadership skills and providing the opportunity for students to implement their technical skills in 'real life' scenarios. We are always welcoming students from every area of study! You don't have to be an engineer to join. We are Everyone without Borders!

Come join Engineers Without Borders for some Earth Day workshops happening this month!

Activities include:
April 3rd (5 pm): A DIY Solar Electricity workshops where you would design, build and install your own solar energy system.
or
April 9th (5pm): A Bottle Cutting Workshop where you would turn discarded glass bottles into drinking glasses and/or other useful items (Feel free to bring your own bottles! Wine or beer bottles are fine, preferably round)

This is opportunity to get CPR certified! For EWB members, EWB-USA requires at least 2 people in the team to be CPR certified. This is great chance if you are planning to travel in future! The event is sponsored by the American Red Cross. It's on February 24th (Saturday) from 9 am at MTCC Ballroom.....

EWB Social Justice Month Update: The CPR training is this Saturday (9am -3pm) at MTCC Ballroom! All the training fee is fully funded by IIT Student Activity Funding. You will be CPR certified by the Amercian Red Cross after your participation. If you want to RSVP, please fill out this form. We can only take first 36 people who filled out this form!
