On Mother's Day this year, our family took a little outing to the Durham Bulls baseball game. The game got rained out, and as we were leaving the stadium, I je**ed my head as I watched Tony Chacheres race over toward a man. The man turned around and I saw it. He was wearing an original Love LeB t-shirt. He knew Matt and shared that he had not worn the shirt in a very long time, but something compelled him to throw it on that day. I truly believe it was my baby boy telling me "Happy Mother's Day, ma!"

💜Hello Love LeB supporters! I haven't posted much in the last few months and I wanted to make sure you all know Love LeB continues to be a labor of love and awareness. About a year after Matt died, I went back to school to study public policy. I am hard at work trying to figure out how to effect change, raise awareness and hopefully save lives. I recently completed a school project to design a public policy awareness website. Please take a gander and share something you learn with one person. Challenge that person to do the same. LeQuaken shirts are in queue at the printers and will be ready soooooon! As soon as they are ready we will get them in the mail and onto your bodies. Thanks, as always, for your support! Once we have crunched the numbers we'll be sure to share the donation amount.

Secondly, Rep. Lauren Boebert from CO introduced the Fentanyl is a WMD (weapon of mass destruction) Act on Monday this week and the DEA is hosting a Family Summit on the Overdose Epidemic today and tomorrow. Washington is beginning to recognize the magnitude of the drug epidemic. We must keep pressing them!

Thirdly, scary report out of TN. The TN Sheriff's office is warning people not to pick up folded dollar bills found on the ground because they may contain fentanyl. Stay alert!
