A volunteer writes:
Ten year old Ruffin came with friend Teeny (8 year old neutered male)) as their owner was displaced. Ruffin was wary when he first arrived at the care center. His pet aren't, his brother, his home...all gone! We understand. It did not take long though for Ruffin, a good and smart cat, to understand that we wanted the best for him. He is such a sweetheart too! He was already a gentle soul when I made his first video but now that he is in our big playroom, he is a much happier camper. Ruffin is a sweet looking tiger with saucer eyes who dreams to be home again, loving and being loved. He aced his behavior evaluation and is already neutered. Come and meet Ruffin very soon at the Manhattan Care Center.
