To all of my friends and co-workers concerned about my family and I in Colombia. We are safe! We are in Bogota where we got hit with a 6.8 magnitude earthquake this morning. Terrifying, but we are safe. We will be heading back home tomorrow. Pray for those that have been affected horribly and have lost everything.

For the last three years, it has truly been an honor to be part of creating a program that is the first of its kind. Together, with The Quell Foundation we have developed Lynn University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program with a concentration in First Responder Care.

This program is a critical step forward for the first responder community—providing access to specialized, culturally competent mental health support when it’s needed most
