Children of all ages and cultures are welcomed and treated with respect.

Children hear the language of love. Children learn through personal experience, the value of finding peace within themselves, establishing peace between them and others, working toward peace in the world, and recognizing their role in creating an environment of peace for the planet. Children have fun while learning lessons of peace. Children are offered loving support and assistance by others who

give their time to teach. Children respect themselves and others, and the learning centers, for the benefit of all who come to learn about peace. Children learn skills to become peacemakers in their daily lives.

Most people agree that a more peaceful world would be an ideal situation for all living creatures. However, we often seem stumped as to how to bring this ideal situation into being. If we are to have true peace in this world, each one of us must find it in ourselves first. If we don't like ourselves...

A joy jar is a powerful tradition and opportunity for celebration and reflection.
Take a jar and strips of paper and set them somewhere you will often walk by them.
Each day of 2022 begin to practice writing down something that brought you joy.
On December 31st of 2022 empty your jar and revisit all the joy it holds.
Take time to reflect on this.
The act of adding to this jar is inviting more joy into your life 🤗✨

Sorry to say with rising covid cases in Cook County the Community of Christ church has decided to cancel YPC meetings for the time being. Once numbers decline and it is safe to resume gathering together we will resume our meetings. Our first concern is the well being and safety of our members. We hope to see you all soon, until then, mask up and stay safe. ❤️
