Moving from “thinking about something” to “saying it out loud” can be a huge barrier for some. Especially if you are unsure about having the right language to describe what you’re feeling or seeing.

SHALVA’s intake coordinator Anthea wants to set you up for success by explaining what happens when we answer the phone.

Check out our example intake calls on our website – we have a recording of someone calling for themself, and a recording of someone about a friend.

It’s okay if you don’t have all of the answers. We’re here to help. If you don’t know what to call it, call SHALVA.

It takes a village to put on our Virtual Annual Luncheon.

We couldn’t do it without SHALVA’s Development team, board, luncheon sponsors, volunteers, and host committee.

Special thanks to our luncheon co-chairs, Sheri Miller and Renee Solomon. 💕

Sheri’s dedication to breaking the cycle of abuse is an inspiration to us all.

Tickets are still available! We hope to see you on Zoom in just a few weeks 💜
