The Horner BrewFest Returns on Friday, July 17th.
40 Local Breweries Unite to Support Horner Park

For local craft b**r lovers, the wait is almost over. Tickets are now on sale for the summer's big event: the 8th Annual Craft Brew Festival in Horner Park on Friday evening, July 17th. Sponsored by the Horner Park Advisory Council, The Horner Brew Fest is the largest of its kind on the northwest side of Chicago – this year featuring 40 local craft brewers, live music and an array of food trucks.

Held under the trees on the front lawn of beautiful Horner Park, it's the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and neighbors while enjoying live music and sampling the best local b**rs and ciders available. And it's all for a good cause. The BrewFest is a fundraiser to support the sustainability initiatives in Horner Park.

This year's proceeds will be used for the continued preservation of the park's 89 critically-endangered ash trees and furthering Horner's pursuit of certification as an internationally-accredited arboretum. Additional objectives are for improvements along the park's restored river front and natural areas.

Save the Date: Friday, July 17, 2026; 6-10 PM. For more information, visit the Horner BrewFest website.

The last four festivals have sold out so don't wait too long to secure your admission. Tickets are available on Eventbrite:

Some answers to some questions we've received:

Q: What's the format?

A: It’s a scramble doubles tournament. The players will be randomly sorted into groups and play round robin doubles with their group. Once they finish that rotation, they will be sorted into another group and complete another rotation, and so on.

Q: Is it singles or doubles?

A: It’s doubles.

Q. Do I need a partner? Do I sign up by myself?
A. Players sign up individually. No partner necessary as you’ll be randomly sorted into a group and will partner with everyone in the group, round robin style.

Q: Are there prizes?

A: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will get a medal, a new paddle, a hat, and a card/certificate. All other players are automatically entered to win door prizes such as a paddle, coaching sessions, or other fun pickleball related items!

Q: Do I get a cool t-shirt? A: Yes
