One Family Illinois 💙 (formerly SOS Children's Villages Illinois), founded over 30 years ago, is a non-profit organization that provides an individual licensed home in a supportive, community environment that marshals all the resources needed to help children in foster care heal and achieve their permanency goals. One Family Illinois celebrates a 90% high school graduation rate, compared to a nati

onal average of 56% for children in foster care. In 2023, One Family Illinois maintained Candid’s (formerly GuideStar) highest award, Platinum Seal of Transparency, and Charity Navigator’s Rating of Four-Stars.

Healthy habits start with opportunity, education, and community. 🍎👩‍🍳

We're proud to partner with nutrition students from Rush University System for Health to bring hands-on cooking demonstrations to the youth and families at One Family Illinois twice a week. Through delicious, nutritious recipes and practical cooking tips, youth and families are building skills that support healthier lifestyles for years to come.

A special thank you to Goya Foods for making these experiences possible through the donation of our beautiful in-house kitchen at our Roosevelt Square location. This welcoming space provides the perfect environment for learning, connecting, and creating healthy meals together.

We were honored to welcome State Representative Michael Crawford of the 31st District to One Family Illinois’ Chicago Village in Auburn Gresham.

Rep. Crawford (center) and his Chief of Staff, Anthony Lovelace, toured a village home, learned more about our sibling foster care program, and met with CEO Delphine Rankin (2nd from right), Director of Government & Community Relations Christie Richardson, and Chicago Village’s Director of Programs & Services Megan Maybell.
