Lucy's Children's Fund

Lucy's Children's Fund We are a family working together to find and fund the best non-profits serving kids in need What we have done as a family, you and your family can also do.

You and your family do not have to be rich to start a family foundation (or donor-advised fund). We started small and are growing. The enthusiasm, generosity, and practical ideas of our family members have helped us make modest but impactful financial grants to the many organizations highlighted on this page which help needy children locally, nationally, and internationally. Lucy’s Children’s Fund

was created to give current and future generations of our family the opportunity to work together and pass on a culture of caring and giving. Preserving and continuing that culture through a family foundation strengthens our connection as a family and inspires in each of us a greater drive to serve the common good – and it can do the same for your family as well.

Today is World Refugee Day. This is an important time to remember that, like all of us, refugees are looking for a better life for themselves and their little ones.

“My main concern is to go to a safe country where I can bring up my child, and get her the treatment she needs, so she doesn’t waste her future. Our future is lost already, but it’s not fair that she should lose hers too.” Meet Syrian refugee Rasheed Tari from Aleppo and his one-year-old daughter Ella. Having arrived in Greece some months ago from Turkey, the family is now stuck in limbo waiting for resettlement in a new country.
