XC has become a family affair!

Sprinter Audrey has been exploring cross country this season and raced to 5th place at Batavia! Mom Angela joined the fun, finishing 2nd in the open race! Little Flyers Natalie and Caleb decided the 2K looked fun—and jumped in without any XC training, finishing 19th and 5th!

Together, the Kang's earned FIRST PLACE for the family team! A little curiosity, a lot of enthusiasm, and a whole family cheering each other on! ❤️🖤

They spent the summer challenging each other at practice, learning each other’s strengths and pushing each other to improve. That shared work was on display at the Illinois Prairie Athletic Conference Boys Cross Country Championships!

Everett (Edison) set the pace and led the race, with Wyatt (Glen Crest) right behind him. In the final stretch, Wyatt’s powerful kick propelled him to the win!

1st and 2nd!! Two teammates bringing out the best in each other. Proud of our Flyers! ❤️🖤
