Livin' Through the Lenz NFP Supporting Black and Brown breast cancer survivors beyond the diagnosis through healing-centered programs. Our promise: I See You. Where Healing Continues

We see and support the woman beyond her diagnosis, because healing doesn’t end when treatment ends. The mission of Livin' of Thru the Lenz NFP is to bridge the racial disparity gap in cancer outcomes that disproportionately affect black and brown women. Our approach centers on photo-based therapy designed to uplift, support, and empower these women throughout their breast cancer healing journey.

The Parts No One Sees Behind the Strength

The mirror can tell a story of change—but it can also become a place of recognition and self-love.

For a while, I noticed everything that was different before I recognized myself. Over time, I’m learning to look again—to see the woman who was afraid and kept going, whose body changed but whose worth never did.

Whether your reflection holds the changes of aging, illness, scars, or simply years of living, I hope this episode encourages you to look at yourself with more kindness.

Recognize what you’ve carried. Honor how far you’ve come. Give yourself love as you continue becoming.

Look a little deeper and say, “I see you.” 💗
The person in the mirror has a story—and that story deserves to be honored.

On Saturday, October 3, Livin Through the Lenz will be introduced to the community during EVERY DAY IS OCTOBER, in partnership with Lamont Watts and the Club Steppin Day Set.

This is more than an event. It is a day of music, stepping, survivor stories, healing, celebration, and community.

After the appointments slow down, the phone calls stop, and everyone expects you to move forward—what happens next?

Livin Through the Lenz is here for what happens next—because healing doesn’t end when treatment ends.

Come meet the women of our Photo Journaling Sister Circle, hear their stories, visit our Hope & Healing Corner, add a message to the Collage of Courage, enjoy our giant pink-ribbon photo experience, and witness the official community reveal of Livin Through the Lenz.
