Today, I announce with a heavy heart that Generation Mirror has officially closed its doors. This decision is bittersweet as many know how near and dear this cause is to me and my family; however, while I close this chapter, I am eager to start a new one with equal passion.
I cannot thank each and every one of our supporters, volunteers, board members, friends & family enough for your time, energy and support over the past few years. With you, we were able to make a tremendous impact. It has been an incredible journey and I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet such inspiring individuals and organizations along the way.
Generation Mirror's remaining assets have been donated to Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA), a national organization focused on increasing prevention, diagnosis and treatment of binge eating disorder and associated weight stigma. We are inspired by their action on addressing the stigma associated with eating disorders and their ever-evolving outreach efforts. Please check them out!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected].
Again, my sincerest thanks and gratitude.
