MEDICAL AID PROJECT – MEDICAL AID FOR VIETNAM: A Team comprised of 40 volunteers (Medical doctors, eye doctors, dentists, nurses and others), from Canada and U.S.A is now partaking in a two-week medical mission in Vietnam, that will take place in Bac Giang (Northern Nam) and Hue (Central Vietnam, starting Sunday, January 29th until February 12th, 2023.
Joining our Team in collaboration are three eye doctors from Danang Hospital, and other volunteers such as doctors from Hue, pharmacist from Saigon supporting people from various local areas in Vietnam.
This is the first time our Team organizing another medical mission since the Covid-19 Pandemic, so we have to limit the number of volunteers that we can take on this mission at 40 members. So, we are sincerely apologized to those who wanted to join the team but could not be included.
During the medical mission, our team provides general medical checkups and prescribed free medications, dental cares (dental hygiene, examinations and extractions), eyes examinations with free eye glasses for those who need them. People with cataracts will be screen and send to hospital later for cataract surgeries. Children with heart problems are identified to be followed up heart surgeries if needed.
People have asked how can they support our medical missions in Vietnam?
Yes, you can. By join our Medical Mission Team. Each team member join and pay a mission cost of $1,300USD. This helped to pay the cost while they are doing mission work in Vietnam. Or by supporting our medical mission works and fund our different projects, such as children heart surgery, cataract surgery, medications, and etc.
