Established in April 1984, NAHJ created a national voice and unified vision for all Hispanic journalists. As the local NAHJ Chicago Professionals Chapter, our goals are to empower Hispanic journalists and communicators, provide opportunities for le

adership and growth, and engage educational opportunities that include, multimedia workshops, lectures, panels and mentoring. IMPORTANT: NAHJ Chicago reminds members and visiting journalists of their rights in covering immigration enforcement.

The National Association of Hispanic Journalists Chicago Chapter (NAHJ-Chicago) is sharing this message to alert local journalists and visiting colleagues about reports of an unannounced and warrantless visit by federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture in Humboldt Park on Tuesday, July 8.
