“My name is Jennifer Hernandez and this is

My parents divorce was difficult for me at such an young age, leading me to look for love and acceptance in the streets. I quickly found everything I thought I needed in drugs, gangs, and looking for love in all the wrong places

At 20 years old I got pregnant with my first daughter and that’s the moment I realized I wanted to be better, not just for me, but for her. It wasn’t easy to get away from the life I had built for myself, but it was possible.

Today I am a Branch Manager for a very successful mortgage loan company, and the founder of the non-profit organization Madd Talent Outreach dedicated to help kids that are going through what i went through, I have 4 beautiful children and I am living the life I always wanted. I am proof that you can overcome anything, as long as you never give up.”

In 2019 I had the pleasure to sit down and talk about my story and my dreams with Kelly Hager, the executive producer and CEO of Arras The Series.


It is always difficult to speak out about a past that traumatized you, but it is also very empowering to know that, the same past that tortured you, is the one that helped you create a beautiful vision for the future.

MADD Talent was created to help teens who are lost, dream about a better tomorrow and realize that they are not alone.

We want to do this by coming together with other non-profit organizations and creating alternative programs that will get our youth off the streets and start dreaming about a better future.
