Congratulations to our Youth Peer Advocate Leadership (YPAL) graduates! 🎉 Our YPAL cohort spent the summer learning how to recognize abuse, the systems and culture that enable violence, and how they can be advocates in their own communities. YPAL graduates practice peer-to-peer education by passing on their knowledge to a friend, family member, or mentor.
This year's YPAL Intern cohort created a website investigating how the gender binary leads to gender-based violence and how that manifests in various male and female dominated professional fields. You can find their website flyers throughout Chicago!
