On May Day, we pause our operations to honor the labor, dignity, and collective power of the people who make our mission possible.

We were so honored to join our Canaan Palestine friends at the Gene Siskel Film Center for the screening of the beautiful documentary “Land of Canaan.” Our hearts are so full. Witnessing the story of these farmers and their deep connection to the land makes us appreciate their incredible products so much more. Thank you to Dr. Nassar Abufarha and everyone at the Chicago Palestinian Film Festival including us in this very special night!

We are beyond thrilled that Nassar’s son, Karmel Abufarha, will be leading an olive oil tasting and talk at our World Fair Trade Day festival on Saturday, May 2.

We look forward to screening “Land of Canaan” at Chicago Fair Trade in the near future so everyone has the opportunity to experience this incredible and important story.
