What an incredible season it has been for WFC!

From our first performance as part of Ear Taxi Festival, to the final notes of Majel Connery’s The Rivers Are Our Brothers in Edgewater and Northfield, it was a joy to welcome over 800 audience members this season to hear the music of Christopher Tin, Michael Harrison, Stacy Garrop, Augusta Read Thomas, world-premiere’s by Benjamin T. Martin, Ben Zucker, roster member Alexandra Olsavsky and so much more!

Help us end this season strong with a year end gift! We've raised just over $80,000 - well on our way to our $90,000 goal this season.

Any (and all) dollar amounts help us continue sharing unexpected, boundary-pushing works, commission up and coming composers, and bring WFC artists to even more stages around Chicago.

Ben will be providing interlude tracks that will connect Antoine Brumel's 'Earthquake Mass' and Majel Connery's 'The Rivers Are Our Brothers' - allowing the past and present to speak (or sing) to one another like never before.

More from Majel Connery's The Rivers Are Our Brothers - a multi-movement work for solo voices and chorus WFC will share in just under a month!

Originally written for Chanticleer, this work explores issues of ecology and climate change from the perspective of nature.

The songs in the cycle take a first-person view of nature, ascribing human qualities and feelings to elements of the landscape: water, trees, mountains, rivers, and clouds.

Don't miss WFC's premiere of The Rivers Are Our Brothers on May 9th at Church of the Atonement in Edgewater!
