Roxy and Soukie Feed the Puerto Rico Strays Our Mission is to provide food and veterinary care for Stray dogs and cats in Puerto Rico and help find them homes in the States. Thank you

Roxy and Soukie feed the Puerto Rico Strays was started in 2014, after seeing first hand the sad fate that most of the stray dogs and cats endure on the Island. It is estimate that there are over 300,000 stray dogs and even more stray cats. Originally I named the first shipment of food Roxy feeds the strays in memory of my first rescued Pit bull Roxy. Soukie was a stray dog I rescued from a beach in Puerto Rico in 2009. I brought her back home and she was adopted by a very loving family. Sadly Soukie passed away in 2015 and this is when I decided to change the name. My mission is to send as much food that I can to the wonderful rescuers that go out every day to feed stray colonies, to make sure that at the very least they do not die of starvation. Sadly most of these strays will never make it to a home of their own. My hope is that in time I can help the rescuers with veterinary bills to get some of the strays up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered and eventually find them homes here in the states.
