▪️Alberto Avendaño, é un dos xornalistas como maior proxeción de Galicia, conta con 3 Premios Emmy, foi director do ETL do Washington Post. Escritor e poeta transgresor do membro do Grupo Rompente do Vigo dos 80. Residente en Estados Unidos dende 1991, coñece ben a relidade do pais, considérase "hispanounidense". A través dunha entrevista, expón unha perspectiva interior, sobre USA, dende as tripas, a emigración, a amizade con Galicia ou ese retorno a patria da morriña.

▪️Alberto Avendaño, one of Galicia´s top-rated journalists, has 3 Emmy Awards and was director of the Washington Post's ETL. Transgressive writer and poet, member of Vigo Grupo Rompente in the 80s. Resident in the United States since 1991, he knows the country's authenticity, and he considers himself "Hispanic American". Through this interview, he exposes his inner perspective about the USA, emigration, friendship with Galicia, and that longing to return to the homeland.

▪️Manuel Rivas, escritor e Catedrático de Filósofía do Instituto Rosalía de Castro. Falará sobre a figura de Dino Pacio Lindín (1934), un sociólogo galego instalado en NY, promotor da educación bilingüe para adultos e do proxecto Solidaridad Humana. Un gran activista social que tranformou o seu contorno, apoiando e mellorando a vida das comunidades emigrantes e marxinadas hispanas.

He will talk about the figure of Dino Pacio Lindín (1934), a Galician sociologist based in NY, promoter of bilingual education for adults and the Human Solidarity project. ▪️Gabriel Rei-Doval, profesor da University of Wisconsin, e director do proxecto Galician Studies. Fundador do Simposio de Estudos Galegos en USA. Disertará sobre a orixe e xerme do panorama docente da língua e cultura galega en USA, ten pegada dende os anos 40 con relevantes figuras coma Ramón Martínez López, Emilio González López, Eusebio Guerra da Cal, ou González Millán. Ademáis dun modo maxistral debulla o futuro do mesmo, amosa que promovelos pode ser unha palanca positiva para todos os eidos, reforza a imaxe e a sociedade galega.

▪️Gabriel Rei-Doval, professor at the University of Wisconsin, and director of the Galician Studies project. Founder of the Galician Studies Symposium in the USA. He will lecture on the origin and germ of the teaching landscape of the Galician language and culture in the USA, which has had an impact since the 40s with relevant figures such as Ramón Martínez López, Emilio González López, Eusebio Guerra da Cal, or González Millán. In addition, in a masterly way, he draws the future of the same, shows that promoting them can be a positive lever for all fields, reinforces the image and Galician society.

▪️Antonio Lage-Seara, divulgador social e cultural. Fala dunha Galicia emigrante e navegante, "o seu Finisterrae, fin da terra coñecida, convertiríase na porta ó Novo Mundo". Diserta sobre a relación existente entre USA e Galicia. Comeza nas primeiras expasións e exploracións, e vai ata a actualidade. Unha comunidade crecente e con influencia. Nos Estados Unidos hai máis de 25.000 galegos e o volume de negocio supera os 500 millóns de dóllares. Plantexa como a día de hoxe se deben refrescar e afianzar os lazos, de dúas comunidades que teñen moito e común, e un camiño que percorrer. Suma que Galicia goza de ter experiencia americana e de ser un híbrico hispanoluso.

Un encontro dixital sobre a amizade cos Estados Unidos de América. Falarase do papel Global de Galicia. A digital meeting about friendship with the United States of America. The Global role of Galicia will be discussed. The history that precedes it, the creation of an external identity, by Galician emigrants and navigators will be discovered. The work on Galician studies developed over the years in the USA will be exhibited.

The role played by this community as a nexus in the Iberophonic or Hispano-Luso world is debated, with more than 700 million speakers and representing 10% of world GDP. The USA is a good place to bless and spread this Iberian-American brotherhood. The new world order is analyzed with the Atlantic Alliance as defender of Freedom, Democracy, Human Rights, Rule of Law and Welfare. In addition, the possible trade potentials between the USA and Galicia, such as social and economic development, will be made known."

Cubreo a contenda española de 1936-39, foi dos primeiros revolucionaros cubanos, sistema ó que deu as costas, fuxindo cara os Estados Unidos onde foi profesor de literatura hispana na University of Syracuse. Traduxo ó español algunhas das obras más relevantes da literatura inglesa, autores coma Hemingway, Faulkner, Huxley... E en exclusiva o mítico "El viejo y el mar". ▪️Lino Novás Calvo is a writer, journalist, teacher and translator born in Grañas (Mañón). Emigrant to Cuba and USA. He covered the Spanish conflict of 1936-39, he was one of the first Cuban revolutionaries, a system that he turned his back on, fleeing to the United States where he was a professor of Spanish literature at the University of Syracuse.
