Buena música. Excelente compañía. Muchas risas. Y, por supuesto, una pista de baile que nunca se queda vacía.

Los miembros de la Sociedad Cívica Cultural de Panamá (SCCP) disfrutaron de una tarde llena de ritmo, alegría y momentos inolvidables en Saborcito Soul.

Porque ser panameño no es solo el lugar donde nacimos; también es la energía que compartimos, las amistades que cultivamos y los recuerdos que creamos juntos.

Gracias a todos los que llegaron para bailar, reír y disfrutar con nosotros.

La Sociedad Cívica Cultural de Panamá (SCCP) tuvo el orgullo de participar en el Picnic Familiar Panameño, compartiendo un día lleno de alegría, música, deliciosa comida, sana convivencia y mucho orgullo por nuestras raíces.

Durante 35 años, SCCP ha trabajado para preservar y promover la cultura panameña, creando espacios donde nuestras familias y nuevas generaciones puedan reunirse, fortalecer lazos y celebrar lo que nos une.

A pesar de las difíciles condiciones por la calidad del aire, nuestra comunidad respondió con compromiso y solidaridad. Muchos tomaron las precauciones necesarias, incluyendo el uso de mascarillas, para disfrutar de un hermoso día de convivencia de manera segura.

A todos los que pasaron a saludarnos, compartieron con nosotros, disfrutaron de la comida, bailaron, apoyaron las actividades, vieron el partido juntos o simplemente celebraron este día con nosotros… ¡gracias por ayudar a mantener viva nuestra cultura!

Esto es solo el comienzo. Los esperamos en nuestras próximas actividades, especialmente en las Fiestas Patrias 2026, donde celebraremos con orgullo los 35 años de la Sociedad Cívica Cultural de Panamá y seguiremos fortaleciendo a la comunidad panameña en Chicago.

Members of the Sociedad Cívica Cultural de Panamá (SCCP) were proud to join the Annual Panamanian Family Picnic—a day filled with laughter, music, delicious food, friendly competition, and the unmistakable warmth of our Panamanian community.

For 35 years, SCCP has worked to preserve and celebrate Panamanian culture while creating opportunities for generations to connect, build friendships, and honor our shared heritage.

Even with the challenging air quality, our community showed up with resilience and care. Many took the necessary precautions, including wearing masks, so we could safely enjoy a beautiful day together while supporting one another.

To everyone who stopped by to say hello, shared a meal, danced, cheered on the games, watched the match together, or simply spent the day celebrating with us—thank you for helping keep our culture alive.

This is only the beginning. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events, especially Fiestas Patrias 2026, as we proudly celebrate 35 Years of SCCP and continue building a stronger Panamanian community in Chicago.

We’re excited to launch our new digital home for the Panamanian community here in Chicago. Since 1991, SCCP has worked to preserve our heritage, celebrate our culture, and bring our community together, and this page will be the place to stay connected on events, traditions, and everything happening with our organization.
