#PCC: Where memories are made and lives are changed

The Pullman Community Center (PCC) is an amazing 135,000 square foot sports complex right in the heart of the Pullman Community! Located just off the Bishop Ford expressway, on 103rd and Woodlawn, the Center boasts of 6 turf fields, 3 basketball/volleyball courts, 4 batting cages, 3 multi-purpose party rooms and more!

The vision for the Pullman Community Center was to create a great indoor facility that would encourage, inspire, educate and improve the skills and health of our community. And for one exciting year, we have done just that!

We have hosted a variety of events for our community including birthday, retirement and holiday parties, as well as job fairs, financial literacy and homebuying seminars. We have also housed tournaments and activities for flag football, baseball, volleyball, soccer, pickleball, rugby, Lacrosse, line dancing, steppin', double-dutch, karate, fitness and more.

PCC is also the home for the 5:30 Scholars, an intensive math, reading, and mentorship program. 5:30 Scholars is designed to provide a balance of academic enrichment and technology training. They train children to be in the top 5% of their class and to score at least a 30 on the ACT, or its equivalent on the SAT. Programming includes English literacy, comprehension and writing and a wide range of math subjects. One of our Pullman 5:30 Scholars students compete in the National Spelling Bee in Washington DC where she placed 51st overall and was tied for the #1 third grader in the nation!
