FEMALE BILLIONAIRES DO IT BETTER 💖 MacKenzie Scott just gave The Trevor Project $45 MILLION — the largest gift in the organization's 26-year history — and the timing couldn't be more critical.

After losing $25 million in federal funding last summer, the LGBTQ+ youth crisis line was at a crossroads.

CEO Jaymes Black said they "literally could not believe it" when notified of the donation. "I actually gasped."

The gift comes as The Trevor Project's services have become even more essential for q***r young people navigating mental health crises — filling gaps that generic crisis lines simply can't address.

Scott — who built Amazon alongside her ex-husband Jeff Bezos — donated more than $7 billion to nonprofits in 2025.

She previously gave The Trevor Project $6 million in 2020.

Scott is one of a handful of billionaires who’s signed “The Giving Pledge” — promising to part with most of their fortune while still alive 💙

In this week’s Variety cover story, the actor clarifies his viral comments from last year where he mentioned being with “men, women.” The actor explains that he was simply trying to de-center his own personal experience when describing the movie and was not, as social media widely speculated, coming out as bisexual.

“Oh,” he says when asked about the comments. “That it resonated with my past? It was definitely not an intended statement. I don’t know what I was talking about. Maybe it has to do with — there’s a lot of focus sometimes on me as an actor. Maybe it was trying to shift the focus more to the story and these characters. And the importance of telling the story like this.”
