Good evening, Warrior Families,
Due to ongoing construction at Waubonsie Valley High School, Curriculum Night will be held virtually this year. Teachers have created video presentations that provide parents and guardians with an opportunity to learn more about their student’s classes, teachers, course expectations, and the curriculum students will be engaging with throughout the school year.
How to view Curriculum Night video presentations:
To watch the video presentations that correspond with your student’s schedule, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Check Your Student’s Schedule
Log in to ParentVue and review your student’s current schedule. You will need your student’s teacher names and class periods to access the appropriate Curriculum Night presentations.
Step 2: Access the Curriculum Night Teacher List
Use the Curriculum Night Teacher List to locate each of your student’s teachers. The teacher list is organized alphabetically by last name.
Step 3: Locate Your Student’s Teacher
Find the teacher who teaches each of your student’s classes.
For example, if your student is enrolled in Business Orientation with Mr. Bryan Acevedo during 1st period, locate Acevedo, Bryan on the teacher list.
Step 4: Select the Correct Video Presentation
Once you locate the teacher, select the hyperlink for the video presentation that corresponds with your student’s class period.
It is important to select the video for the correct class period, as teachers may have different presentations for each period.
Step 5: Repeat for Each Class
Continue this process for each of your student’s classes so you can learn more about the courses and teachers they will be working with this year.
