Seize the Moment: Prepare for Opportunity stay tuned...

Starting in 1 Corinthians 9, Paul explains how he blends in with the crowd, in a careful and loving manner with those who are not saved and were willing to hear the gospel he shared at that time. Also to be clear that he did not submit to their ways, but ONLY to the Word of God and reaching out to them with the same tenderness Jesus reached out to those while He was walking on this earth.

This task can be dangerous, in some way, we must understand that bad company can corrupt good character. Meaning, those who undertake this task must be rooted in the Word and submitted to God's directions before reaching out to the broken hearted.

Those saved must count the cost and be familiar with the journey they are about to embrace. But, this is not the only task and/or gift God provides to ALL. In Romans 12: 6 "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us........... ."

Have you spent some alone time with God and asked HIM for direction on the task/gift HE has assigned for you? Take a moment to spend time in solitude so you have a chance to hear His voice and His calling.

What a blessed and encouraging weekend at the CMCA conference. Grateful for the opportunity to connect with chaplains, pastors, prison ministry leaders, and ministry partners from across the country and around the world who share a heart for restoration, discipleship, and the Gospel.

Thankful for every conversation, testimony, and connection made. Looking forward to building relationships, collaborating in ministry, and continuing to reach those impacted by incarceration with the hope of Jesus Christ.

Excited for what God is doing through prison ministry worldwide. The mission continues.

It costs about $150 to give one child a full summer of outdoor mentorship — fishing, camping, and community.

That's one dinner out for most families. For these kids, it's a turning point.

Mersades Ann Foundation is raising $15,000 this summer to serve children in DuPage and Kane Counties impacted by parental incarceration. Every dollar puts a fishing rod in a kid's hand and a mentor by their side.

$25 — supplies for one outing
$50 — transportation for a child
$150 — a full summer of experiences
$500 — sponsor an entire event

"Chosen, Loved, and Equipped | Mother’s Day Encouragement"

This Mother’s Day, Ann shares a powerful reminder from Ephesians 1:3 - that in Christ, we already have everything we need.

Moms, you don’t have to strive or perform. You are chosen, loved, and equipped by God for this season.
Take a moment today to rest in who He says you are… His beloved daughter.

Happy Mother’s Day

Hebrews 13:3 challenges us in a real way. Not to feel bad or think about it occasionally, but to remember those in prison as if we were right there with them.

That changes how we see people and how we respond.

The church is one body. When one suffers, we all feel it. Jesus said, “I was in prison and you came to visit me.” When we show compassion, we are ministering to Him.

This is the heart of the gospel. We didn’t earn grace, we received it.

To those who are incarcerated, you are not forgotten. God sees you. Your calling is still alive.

To those on the outside, this is our assignment. Pray. Show up. Speak dignity. Remember.

Before God, everything felt heavy, hopeless, and defeating. But now, even in the struggle, there’s joy. Not because life is easy, but because he knows he’s not walking through it alone. That’s what changes everything.

In this week’s devotional, Cisco Terrazas reminds us of a powerful truth from 1 Corinthians 3:5–9: we all have a role, but God is responsible for the results. Whether you’re planting seeds or watering them, your calling is faithfulness not pressure. Stay connected to Christ, trust Him with the outcome, and keep pointing people to Jesus.
