Greetings everyone! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your summer and year. Thanks again for making our 50th class reunion a tremendous success!

This is an exploratory email to see if there is interest in participating as a collective body in the annual all class MPHS alumni picnic weekend. Prior to 2022, the class of 1974 did not participate collectively. In 2022, Beverly Mitchell and myself (Ilonia Gulledge) joined together with about 13 others and began our journey to where we ended up last year in our 50th reunion with over 70 people celebrating our milestone year.

To have a seat at the alumni table the cost is $250 per class. This covers the annual costs of securing the space in the park, portable restrooms, DJ's, permits, signage, insurance, etc.

If you would like to participate, the first step is to pay the class fee of $250. If you are interested in participating, please zelle $10, which will go towards the fee, by Feb 5, 2025. (Zelle: [email protected])

The first alumi meeting will be later in the month and we want to be present at the beginning so that we have a say in planning activites and an opportunity to secure our space at the forest preserve. After we determine there is enough interest and pay our fee, we will have regular meetings to discuss the specifics of what our class will have in terms of food games, etc. Bev and I will attend the alumni meetings as class representatives. Only 1-2 people represent from each class.

We hope that you will want to come, relax, dance, play games and socialize with your fellow MPHS classmates. More info to follow for only those who express interest.

She will have a wake on Friday April 12th @ 3pm until 6pm
Her funeral service will be the following Saturday April 13th at 2pm with another viewing at 1:30pm
