Horrible picture, but I wanted to make this update as I was finishing! I still have to knit blankets for these packages, but from Jeanette’s wedding dress I completed 2 Newborn gowns, 2 Preemie gowns, 4 Tiny gowns, 4 Micro gowns, 4 cocoons, and 6 bonnets. A total of 22 items for 16 families! God is good, thank you, Jeanette, for your donation!

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Today at 7 PM, make sure you’re lighting a candle for all the babies who left this world too soon.

For the babies who never made it past two pink lines.
For the babies whose hearts stopped beating before their parents ever got to hold them.
For the babies born sleeping.
For the babies who took their first breath but never got to grow up.

For every parent who carries a lifetime of love for a baby they didn’t get a lifetime with.

For one hour, candles will shine across the world in their memory.

Because no matter how brief their lives were, they mattered.

They were here. They were loved. And they will never be forgotten. 🕯️

I slowed down significantly when school started back up, along with battling tendinitis. I have finally fallen into a routine and am back to work! As I finish gowns, I then knit the larger sized blankets to go along with them. This entire process is pretty slow, but full of so much love!

Thank you all so much for bearing with me the last 7 years with this mission.

I finished up the micro sized gowns the other day! I’ve been knitting a blanket for a newborn sized gown, but the yarn that I was using was discontinued, so I had to make it smaller—go figure. I’m trying to push through and get it done so that I can start on the tiny sized gowns.
