Bindy Bitterman at Printers Row Lit Fest

Mazel Tov to first-time author and Emanuelite Bindy Bitterman for exhibiting in this year's Printers Row Book Fest. Bindy recently published an adorable children's book (ages 4-11) that is one story written in limerick form.

Bindy will be exhibiting both days of the fest, September 10th and 11th. On Sunday the 11th you will find her in the Society of Midland Author booth. For more details visit www.printersrowlitfest.org

Women & Wisdom

Thank you to everyone who participated in the monthly Tuesday evening Women & Wisdom discussions. Our goal was to learn from each other and from the readings about how we can bring Judaism into our lives and feel fulfilled.

I personally learned so much from every participant and I appreciate your time and your thoughts for opening up in these discussions. Intended for Emanuel members, and open to all, we had lovely women join us from Canada and American expat living in Japan.

Through these discussions we forged deeper relationships with each other and, speaking for myself, with my faith. I look forward to continuing to grow our relationships at the Women’s Retreat, and at Eesha events. Stay tuned for information about the Fall. Thank you for participating.
