Thank you Conor Kelly for taking the time to interview Holly Hootman about Chair Ken Mejia Beal's attempts to remove me as an Elected Delegate from the Democratic Party Of DuPage County, Illinois and his attempt to removed an elected Chair from Lisle Township Democratic Organization. I would be the first delegate removed if he follows through as expected after the leadership election.
Unfortunately not much has changed since we sat down for your podcast The Progressive American. The good news is Diane Hewitt did win her precinct and will remain the Chair of Lisle Township Democratic Organization
There is an election on July 27, 2022 at 7pm at the IBEW and Precinct Committeepeople like myself can vote for new leadership I believe all three races are contested.
This explains the last several months of being attacked personally and LTDO being attacked by The Democratic Party of DuPage to some degree and as I mentioned I can back up every statement with mutiple emails, texts or posts circulated about me that are both offensive and slanderous in my opinion from CURRENT DPDC leadership.
We can either vote to change the way people are being treated currently by our party which we all know is wrong or we can be fearful and vote these leaders back in and emboldened this toxic behavior that was here before I moved to DuPage and will continue IMO. If this were helping us grow our party and win elections that would be one thing but the numbers are clear we are losing money, members and volunteers.
If they want to strip me of my elected position they will have to FIGHT me. I will not be pushed out or quit MY OWN PARTY.
