Malik was born in Lahore, capital of Punjab, Pakistan in a very religious family with no acceptance for music but he was always fascinated by music. Malik got his training in classical music from legends like Ustad Jaffar Hussain (Shami), Ustad Abdul Hafeez Khan (Talwandi), Ustad Nazeer Butt (Patiala) and Bakshi Wazir Hussain (Film Music). After coming to USA, Mr. Malik got his formal piano education from College of Dupage and was trained by Steve Havens, Karol S. Reddington and Micheal F.
