Join Umoja: BLAC on Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 5-6:30 p.m. for a pre-game tailgate at UIC Millennium Lanes for bowling, billiards, arcade games, refreshments, and networking before heading to Credit Union 1 Arena to cheer on the UIC women’s basketball team. The event is free to attend and a shuttle will be available to take attendees to and from the game.

This event is part of a pre-game experience series to bring the UIC community together and support UIC Athletics. Sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement (CSI), UIC Student Centers, Undergraduate Student Government (USG), Athletics, and the Alumni Association.

UMOJA family! We are teaming up with UIC’s Black Staff and Faculty again for our 2nd Holiday Happy Hour 🎉 Join us December 18th, 2025 at Bar 10 Doors for a night of recconecting, fun, and community.

We are especially proud to highlight one of our own UIC alum, Garland Lucas who will be joining us and offering free sorbet (for the first 20 alums who arrive at our Holiday Party) from his ice cream cafe, Nitro Nostalgia .nostalgia 🎄🍧✨
