Governor Pritzker extended the Illinois Eviction Moratorium until February 6, 2021. There are more restrictions on this, however, with legal hoops tenants need to jump through if eviction becomes a concern.

If you or anyone you know are at risk of eviction, please reach out to the RPCRT Hotline 773-831-7668 or you can email us at [email protected]. Please also check out Chicago Tenants Movement, which is doing great work to ensure people in our community are housed.

We hope everyone is able to rest a little at the end of this week. As the winter begins and the eviction moratorium comes to a close, the needs of the Rogers Park community have grown. If you are able to help out for 1-2 hours a week, please reach out to RPCRT to assist as a hotline operator. Calls can be done from home and training is provided. Operators are needed for all languages, and especially for Spanish, French, and English.

To volunteer, please reach out to https://rpcrt.org/join-our-team/, you can also email us at [email protected], message this group on FB, or call our hotline at 773-831-7668.

Please also do not hesitate to call or email RPCRT for any needs, your neighbors are here to support where we can and nobody in our community should feel alone.
