William A Leslie Jr -WAL- Foundation William A Leslie Jr was a dedicated family man and resident of the South Shore community. My name is Danielle Richards.

I am the Founder and Executive Director of The William A Leslie Jr (WAL) Foundation. I created this foundation to honor my father by giving back to the community he loved and called home. Throughout the year, the WAL Foundation will serve those in need on the far Southeast Side of Chicago. Special events will be organized around the holiday season (November and December) to provide families in need with winter clothing necessities and other items as identified by the foundation.

It's that time of year. Help us bless individuals and families in need this holiday season with new pairs of socks and blankets. To mark the 30th anniversary of William's passing, we're hoping to donate to a minimum of 30 families/individuals on the Southeast Side of Chicago.

Chicago winters can be brutally cold, especially for those that live along the lakefront. A donation of as little as $5 can purchase four pairs of socks or one blanket.
