The Black Arts Consortium and The Block Museum at Northwestern are thrilled to invite you to mark the opening of “A Site of Struggle,” an exhibition showcasing and engaging how art has been used to protest, process, mourn, and memorialize anti-Black violence within the United States. Join us for an online conversation between curators, scholars, and participating artists engaging the exhibition and the challenges of representing anti-Black violence in American Art over a 100+ year period.
