35 years ago, today, at 1:36:36 AM CST, I became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc, along with 8 other men. For many of them, we had been Squires together, before becoming Crescents. I graduated high school with one. So our bonds of brotherhood began prior to our actual membership intake / pledge process.

These men are my brothers!!! We have shared every major accomplishment or struggle for the last 35 years... kids, weddings, divorces, re-marriages, job changes, business startups... even death... EVERYTHING.

Joining Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc has been one of the most rewarding decisions in my lifel But joinging Sigma, WITH THEM, makes it that much more special.

NOTE: They are exceptionally proud of me becoming International President. But I still had to go pick up the chicken on Friday night.
