Hey! Even if you’re not local to Alexandria, Virginia, keep reading!

I’ll be teaching a couple of classes at Artistic Artifacts next week (October 17 and18), including one of my most popular: Design Your Own Bargello Quilt! This is one of those classes where everyone seems to leave excited about what they can make. I teach the technique behind Bargello quilt making and how you can change and adapt it to create your own designs and styles.

I’m now scheduling my travel and classes for 2027! If you own a quilt shop or are part of a guild and want to sew with me, reach out! I offer several classes beyond Bargello, and I’m willing to travel just about anywhere. Let’s get something on the calendar!

Today feels like a Mario-in-a-Frog-Suit kind of day! Not necessarily because I have a specific reason, but because the Frog Suit may not get as much love as some of the others. 😂

I'm slowly getting around to sharing pictures from my European adventure, and I thought Disneyland Paris deserved its own post!!

It was an absolute dream come true, but I took WAY too many pictures, so I'll spare you most of them. And before you ask, yes, I did take a bite of my Grogu burger before deciding I should probably take a picture. I have my priorities!! 😂

Live in or near Virginia? This one is for you! I’m so excited to be teaching at Artistic Artifacts in Alexandria, Virginia, this October!

I’ll be teaching Design Your Own Bargello Quilt on Saturday, October 17, followed by The Anna Tote on Sunday, October 18. And even better, Artistic Artifacts will provide bernette 08 Straight Stitch machines, which are my favorite! You’ll get to see firsthand just how fast those straight seams can come together on these machines.

I’ve been having so much fun in Switzerland! This week, we got to tour the BERNINA Headquarters, and it was so cool to get a behind-the-scenes look at how these little powerhouses are built. Seeing the craftsmanship and all the work that goes into each machine was incredible!!

Looks like Mario has found himself in a bit of trouble again. This quilt features the iconic castle from Super Mario Bros. 3, complete with a very important message from inside: HELP!!
