Chrysalis Community Center We provide positive youth development, leadership, and employment opportunities to young people throughout the South Suburbs.

Guiding young people to develop new skills through community service-learning, and supporting schools, organizations, and communities in strengthening the South Suburbs of Chicago. We also offer community-based court alternative programs and technical assistance- in promotion of restorative justice- and we enthusiastically collaborate with like-minded community organizations, businesses, and indiv

iduals to adopt program standards and best practices that will best serve the residents of the South Suburbs.

Chrysalis' Touch of Warmth continues on with another great organization. So if you have gently used clean coats that you would like to give to someone in need please let me know.
Also, NEW hats, gloves, scarves, socks and travel toiletries are also needed. ALL sizes of adult and children sizes are needed.

Affirmation booklets went out again to Wilson School Graduating Class of 2017.

As part of our Wings Program we gave a booklet of letters of affirmation to 30 graduates of Wilson School Dist. 170. If you would like to send a letter for the next years graduating class please let me know. It doesn't have to be long, just giving them a pat on the back for their hard work.

Perfectly Posh's Dawn Blaha Coglianese and Chrysalis are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, April 23rd at Chrysalis' 6th Annual Spring Shopping Event at St. Kieran's School Gym 10am to 3pm. located at 724 W 195th Street (195th & Halsted St) in Chicago Heights. Hourly door prizes, Visit the Vendor baskets, 30+ vendors of a wide variety and a chance to step into Spring.
