One act of generosity can create opportunities that last far beyond a single journey. 💛🌎

Recently, a traveling family visiting Costa Rica donated sports and recreation equipment to the Guanacaste Children's Community Center - Worldschooling Education Hub in Huacas, Costa Rica.

Because of their generosity, these resources will create opportunities for local and traveling children to play, connect, build friendships, and learn together through our community programs and community events.

At Hope Across Borders, we believe meaningful travel is about more than discovering new places.

It's about building relationships, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities that continue long after the trip has ended.

To this incredible family, thank you for reminding us that even a single act of generosity can create a lasting ripple effect.

Thanks to this thoughtful donation, our campers are already enjoying new basketballs, footballs, and recreation equipment—and these resources will continue to be used by local children during our upcoming community play days and programs through Hope Across Borders

🌎🤝 Community Service in Action 🤝🌎

We had the privilege of welcoming 27 students from to Costa Rica, who chose to dedicate part of their travels to meaningful, hands-on community service. 💛

The day brought together multiple communities and initiatives:

🌊 A beach clean-up in Tamarindo with

🎨 Time spent at the El Faro Feeding Center in El Llanito supporting with painting, upkeep, and preparing lunch

🌿 And continued efforts at — gardening, woodworking, and caring for shared spaces

Experiences like this show how education, community, and collaboration can come together to create meaningful impact.

We are especially grateful for the group’s generous donation, helping continue to support community initiatives and expand access to education and recreation. 🌎

Grateful for the collaboration between the CREO students, Clean Wave Asociación, El Faro Feeding Center, and GCCC in making this day possible.
