We’re excited to share a wonderful post from the Montgomery County Police Department celebrating Take Your Child to Work Day! It was a fun-filled and meaningful day for our officers and their families. While everyone had a great time, what truly stands out are the lasting memories being created between parents and their children.
The Montgomery County Foundation is proud to support this special event, partnering with Chick-fil-A to provide complimentary meals for both the officers and their kids. It’s an honor to help make days like this even more memorable for those who serve our community every day.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather or better volunteers that helped the MC Police Foundation pull off our very first community event. Thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers, cooks, officers, county councilmembers, judges and patrons that made it possible. A special thanks to our host Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company. Their patience, teamwork and support for the last six months while we planned the event was incredible. You definitely should check them out for your next event.

The members of the board of the Montgomery County Police Foundation extend their deepest condolences to the Mission Barbecue organization and the Kraus family.

We are devastated to hear of this loss to our community, and are personally touched, as Mission Barbecue is a strong supporter of our Foundation and support Veterans and 1st responders all through the nation. There is no better example of a Montgomery County business giving back to first responders in their community.

We are deeply saddened and hold all those affected in our hearts at this tender time.
