The Historical Society of Town of Chester proudly announces the First Annual SUMY Calendar for 2021.
Great Holiday Gift Opportunity
The calendar contains 13 black and white, original SUMY photos, depicting a variety of scenes from the Town of Chester from years past.
The Calendar can be purchased locally at Mountain Hardware, The Crossroads, Rustic Charm and the Ice Cream Parlor. The cost is $15.00, which includes Sales Tax or you may contact Bernie McCann at 518-321-8542 to arrange pick up.
To order from out of town mail your request, with payment of $15 plus $4 for shipping to Historical Society Town of Chester, PO Box 34, Chestertown, NY 12817
Or contact the Society by email at ([email protected].), along with your mailing address and then pay with PayPal. Once the PayPal payment is acknowledged we will ship calendar to you.
We plan for this to be an annual event with new SUMY photos for years to come.

The Historical Society of the Town of Chester is now fully a charity on PayPal. Any donations to the society will go towards maintaining and updating our museum collection.
Currently, we are in the process of digitizing the SUMY Collection of over 30,000 negatives and photographs.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the scanning of the above negatives and photographs.

We are also looking forward to safely opening the Museum. We are looking for volunteers who would like to be docents at the museum.
