1️⃣Families may receive $120 per child for groceries while school is out.
2️⃣Benefits can be used at most grocery stores & some farmers markets.
3️⃣Most eligible students are automatically enrolled — no application needed.

Beginning June 1, you may be eligible to receive additional benefits to buy food for a child who will not have access to school meals during the summer. Maryland’s new SuN Bucks meal program provides $40 per month for food for June, July, and August 2024 (totaling $120).

Kent County Department of Social Services would like to give a BIG Thank You to Christ First United Methodist Church for allowing us to host the Community Table Dinner last night! It was a wonderful evening of sharing and fellowship. Our spaghetti recipe was a hit! Thank you to everyone who came for dinner.

Resource parents play a vital role in helping children through difficult transitions, providing not just the basics, but the emotional support that allows them to grow and thrive.
