Days for Girls Chesterton IN Team

4 MILLION PEOPLE around the world have the information and access to menstrual health products they need because of Days for Girls Programming!!!

A female student in Borkeo, Cambodia reflected on her DfG education,

“I will share this information with my younger sisters, friends, and anyone else who is unaware. I can advise younger girls when they get their first period, explaining how to use menstrual products, maintain hygiene, and address common misconceptions. If boys ask me, I will share information with them as well.”

Together, we’ve reached 4 million.
One story at a time.

We believe a is also a sustainable one. Since 2008, Days for Girls has created environmentally friendly solutions that have added up in a big way.

Since 2008, Days for Girls Kits have saved 3,953,636 metric tons of CO₂ emissions.

Here’s what that translates to in easy-to-understand terms:

🚗 Equivalent to the annual emissions of about 921,000 DFG cars
🏠 Equal to the yearly energy use of roughly 530,000 homes
🌳 Matching the carbon absorption of about 101 million tree seedlings grown for 10 years
⛽ Comparable to the emissions produced by using nearly 445 million gallons of gasoline
✈️ Equivalent to roughly 8.7 million passenger flights
When you contribute to Days for Girls, you are investing in a more sustainable future for girls and communities around the world.
