On May 8, 1945, the Allied nations formally accepted N**i Germany’s surrender, marking the end of World War II in Europe. Known as VE Day, it was a moment of celebration, relief, and reflection across the world after years of sacrifice and hardship.
Millions of men answered the call during the war — soldiers, sailors, airmen, medics, factory workers, fathers, brothers, and sons. Their courage, discipline, and willingness to serve something greater than themselves changed the course of history.
Today, we remember the generation that fought for freedom and honor under unimaginable circumstances. May we continue to carry forward the values they embodied: duty, resilience, sacrifice, and brotherhood.
“Freedom is never free.”
