GAHT educates communities and inspires positive systemic change to end human trafficking.

Gateway Human Trafficking envision creating a safe world for all children. We follow the “3P” paradigm of prosecution, protection, and prevention that continues to serve as the fundamental framework around the world including the United States to combat human trafficking. This approach is reflected in the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Childr

en supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (Palermo Protocol) and in the United States’ Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, as amended (TVPA). Furthermore, the addition of the fourth P of “Partnership” with our community partners and agencies is key to our success.

This interactive training equips professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize human trafficking and exploitation, understand risk factors and grooming tactics, identify warning signs, and respond using trauma-informed practices. Participants will gain practical prevention strategies, learn about local resources, and leave prepared to help create safer communities for youth and vulnerable populations.

Senior Program Specialist Rhonda and our extraordinary volunteer Charlie met hundreds of good people at the Senior Resource Expo & Health Fair Spring 2026.

Over 200 guests visited the fair with 58 tables manned by vendors and organizations like GAHT. Many people expressed interest in learning more about our presentations.

Since 2014, the Gateway Alliance against Human Trafficking has been meeting a critical need in our region's approach to end human trafficking. But because human trafficking is too often a "hidden" crime, and victims and survivors are stigmatized, shamed, or silenced, education and awareness of the reality of trafficking remains a challenge.
