🔥 Fire Prevention Week is almost here! 🔥
This year’s theme is “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.”

Lithium-ion batteries power the devices we use every day—but when they’re not used safely, they can also create serious fire risks.

Next week, UL Research Institutes, UL Standards & Engagement, and UL Solutions will share brand-new resources to help fire departments, educators, and community partners spread the word on:

✅ Safe purchasing
✅ Proper charging & handling
✅ Recycling and proper disposal of batteries

This initiative also launches the next phase of the Take C.H.A.R.G.E. of Battery Safety campaign—providing tools you can use in your stations, schools, and neighborhoods to keep your communities safe.

Follow along all week for resources you can share with your crew and your community.
