Although our Summer Sizzle event didn't meet our ticket sells goal, we're committed to refunding all participants immediately.

The Names You May Know, But the Stories You May Not is more than a series—it is an opportunity to capture the voices, wisdom, sacrifices, triumphs, and lived experiences of African Americans who have helped shape the rich fabric of Chester, South Carolina.

By listening, we honor those who came before us. By documenting their stories, we preserve a legacy that might otherwise be lost. These stories remind us where we have been, help us understand who we are, and inspire us to thoughtfully shape where we are going.

2026 May Week Committee. Job well done.

On behalf of the Chester (SC) Alumnae Chapters May Week Committee we would like to thank everyone who supported this year’s program. This year our theme was “Making an Impact: Empowering Communities.” Our guest speaker was one of Chester’s own Soror Sherrigan Feaster-Johnson. She gave a dynamic message entitled “Making Some Noise.” We also would like to thank the churches who always support us in our Wear Red Initiative in support of the American Heart Association.

With conference season underway, we’re proud to share that the South Atlantic Region is the only region launching an Aimly campaign - making this a unique opportunity for our members to support regional initiatives as we count down to the 32nd South Atlantic Regional Conference!

We also were honored to kick things off with our Chapter Ambassador Training, joined by Aimly CEO Marques Zahir and our very own Madam Regional Director, and we can’t wait to see the impact this campaign will make across the region.

Sales run June 14–21, 2026, and yes, there are incentives for both individuals AND chapters. Stay tuned for more details on how your chapter can get involved!

What you need to know about our upcoming Summer Sizzle Social.

It is a COMMUNITY event and FUNDRAISER for our chapter.

This means anyone is welcome Ages 21 and older.

Tickets are purchased using the link below or QR Code on the flyer.

Whats included: Food, Great music, Great Fun and lots of FELLOWSHIP.

There may be a few kickball games going on, card games, etc.

What can you bring: Yourself and all of your friends, tents, folding chairs, fans, coolers and definitely your dancing shoes.
