"There aren't enough words to explain what that time away meant to me and my family. Something as simple as sitting on the deck just listening to the stillness cannot be described other than peaceful. To say we are thankful would be an understatement! But believe me we are, to the foundation, to the host, to the Lake Gaston community, to God! Thankful!!!! Your organization helped refill my cup!"

🎣2026 Family Feedback - The Tumminello Family🎣

"We truly enjoyed our time to rest and relax and recharge as a family. We loved every bit of our stay. The VRBO fit our needs and we absolutely loved all of the outdoor landscape and boat house. Those features made our stay! The pontoon boat was so nice for us! We drove around sight seeing, swam in the water, and did some fishing.

I woke up every morning and went to the boat house and enjoyed the peacefulness. We are truly grateful for our time we got to spend together."

🔅2026 Family Feedback - The Meiggs Family🔅

"It was such a needed time for us to breathe and just be together. Reese loved swimming every single day! All three of the girls were total mermaids all week. We are so grateful for the time. The house and location were fantastic. We enjoyed being able to go to Washburn's and get ice cream while out on the boat. And the girls had a great time making smores in the back yard. Everything you all supplied us with from the goodie bag all the way to the stay and boat were so appreciated."
