🌟 Attention Kansas Residents! 🌟

Did you know Kansas offers LIEAP – the Low Income Energy Assistance Program – to help with your heating and cooling bills? ❄️🔥

If you meet income guidelines, you may qualify for assistance to keep your home comfortable and your energy bills manageable.

✅ Who should apply?
• Families struggling to pay their electric, gas, or propane bills
• Seniors or individuals on a fixed income
• Anyone facing energy hardship

DCF has been notified that federal funding was approved for the 2026 Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) season. LIEAP helps eligible Kansas households pay a portion of their primary home heating costs during the winter season with a one-time per year benefit.

Applications will NOT be accepted until 8 a.m. on Jan. 20, 2026, and must be received by DCF by 5 p.m. on March 31, 2026.

An update as we continue to gather and lay a strong foundation:

We are currently awaiting the last step of licensing and are still planning to officially launch early next year! This season has been all about preparation, growth, and making sure everything is in place so we can serve the community well.

This next chapter is being built because of you and for you. We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more as things continue to come together. Thank you for believing in this mission and standing with us as we prepare for what’s next. 🫶

🌿 Welcome to the Gather & Give Foundation! 🌿

We are so excited to officially introduce this new community-based nonprofit in the making.

✨ Our Mission:
To gather resources, compassion, and community support to give hope and relief to families in need. We aim to bridge the gap for those facing financial hardship by providing essential assistance, encouragement, and opportunities for stability—because no one should feel alone when life becomes overwhelming.

Though our foundation will officially launch in 2026, the heart behind Gather & Give has already been in motion. You may already know of community projects like Free Swim and the Thanksgiving Meal Drive where we’ve worked together to provide meals, essentials, etc for local families.

Our goal is to grow that giving spirit—creating a place where generosity meets purpose. Throughout the year, we’ll share updates, fundraisers, and stories of impact right here.

We’ll start small, but with your help, we’ll continue to make a big difference. ❤️
