Day 4: Meet Me at the Races 🏁🏎

Pamlico Christian Academy cadets put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work today! From programming robots to tackle challenges to designing original projects using Computer Aided Design (CAD), students explored how technology and engineering come together. They finished the day with some friendly competition on the track, racing CO2 dragsters while putting their knowledge of forces and motion into action.

🤖 Day 4: Meet Me at the Races! 🏎️

Brinson Memorial Elementary School cadets spent the day exploring the exciting world of robotics, coding, and engineering! They worked through programming challenges, used Computer Aided Design (CAD) to bring their ideas to life, and put their engineering skills to the test by racing CO2 dragsters. Along the way, they practiced problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork while discovering the science behind forces and motion.

We love seeing these cadets learn, create, and put their ideas into action! 🚀

🧪 Day 2: Mad Scientists! ⚛️

Our STARBASE cadets from W. J. Gurganus Elementary School stepped into the role of mad scientists as they explored physical and chemical changes, practiced measurement using the metric system, and created molecular models. Through hands-on experiments and collaborative activities, students put their curiosity to work while building their science and engineering skills!

We’re loving the curiosity, creativity, and teamwork our cadets bring to STARBASE every day! 🚀🔬

Cadets from Summersill Elementary School stepped into the role of engineers today. The cadets experimented with different forms of energy, studied microscopic life, and gained hands-on experience with robots to solve challenges. Great work, cadets!

Brinson Memorial Elementary School cadets took on the role of engineers today to explore forms of energy, investigate life under a microscope, and use an Ozobot robot to complete challenges. They also learned about local careers related to robotics and used Computer Aided Design (CAD) to create a gyrosphere.

🔎Day 1: CSI 🔍

W. J. Gurganus Elementary School cadets joined us for a first day full of CSI-themed activities. They put their teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to the test to complete a series of missions, including building and testing bridges, chromatography, computer aided design (CAD) and mathematics puzzles with fractions and decimals.
