Thank you to all that attended the inaugural Cherokee Educational Foundation fundraising dinner and evening. A special thank you to our foundation members and all of their hard work to make it a successful evening. Also a big thank you to Bob Kimminau, Michelle Kimminau and Derek Vetter for helping with tables and chairs! and Jason Harms for the wonderful brisket!
The evening would not have happened without Heather Gottsch and her direction with the Cherokee FCCLA students. A huge thank you to Aaron Gottsch for vacuuming!
Nikki Gates and her elementary academic team, as well as our audience volunteers Keith W. Smith, Adrian Alvidrez, Katelyn Hague, and Sophia Michelle Baldwin, made for a fun evening!
Chiefs Theatre was the Chef’s kiss of entertainment and humor as well thoughtfulness throughout the poetry that was read.
A very big thank you to the community of Cherokee for your support! Last year the Foundation gave away close to $4,000; at our event last night almost the same amount was given through ticket sales and donations. These donations help ensure that the foundation will continue to support Cherokee students and their activities. That is incredible!
It’s truly a great day to be a Chief
